N2 - This paper proves a fixed point theorem for F-contraction mappings in partial symmetric spaces. In doing so, we extended and generalized the results in the literature by employing a rational-type contraction condition. We also provided an illustrative example to support the results. Finally, we demonstrate the results by the applications to Volterra integral equation inclusion and chemical reactor integral equations.
