Abstract
The importance of strategic planning is not only in the accurate prediction of future, but also in the responsiveness to the future and this is possible through the continuous strategic thinking. Understanding this issue, this paper seeks to identify and rank the strategic thinking parameters in Khouzestan Steel Company. The research method is applied in terms of objective and descriptive- analytical according to the data analysis. The statistical population of research consists of all directors in Khouzestan Steel Company and 50 ones are randomly selected as the samples. The structural equation modeling and PLS software are utilized for data analysis. The research results indicate that all three levels of strategic thinking have the meaningful and direct (positive) relationship with strategic thinking, so that the most important role and highest coefficient belong to the personal level with coefficient of 0.557, then the organizational level with coefficient of 0.352, and finally the group level with a coefficient of 0.139.
