Abstract

This paper provides an analysis of scientific publications of Russian and international researchers in the field of competition development based on various scientometric indicators, using SciVal, an analytical tool of Elsevier, the world supplier of scientific information products and services. In order to make the analysis complete, the concept of "competition" was considered from various points of view: first, as a rivalry, a struggle for goods that are of particular interest to stakeholders, on the other hand, as a type of market structure, along with monopoly and oligopoly. Based on these research areas, the authors made lists of keywords for the search conducted according to the following classification indicators: number of scientific publications, research areas devoted to competition development, field-weighted citation impact, key relevant phrases, active countries, educational and research institutions, journals, authors, etc. The main time interval for the analysis is the period from 01.01.2015 to 28.10.2020.
