Application of homotopy perturbation method to nonlinear time-fractional fourth order Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to find the solution for the nonlinear fractional fourth order Kortewegde Vries equation via homotopy perturbation method (HPM). The solution is compared with one attained by using homotopy analysis method  (HAM). The results show that by using HPM, the same accuracy will be obtained with much less computational effort in comparison with HAM.
